Old Hindi music!!
As a kid I was always exposed to new music n old songs equally..
Old songs by dad.. N mom to an extent..
N new music my sis n general surroundings..
My frantic almost scary exposure to old music.. And the period i fell in love with old songs was when my mom was out of station fr abt a month or so.. N my dads need fr music rose tremendously..
I was woken up by loud! Very loud music on the world space.. N this music would continue till the time i got out of home fr school which was a good half n hr 45 min. Later..
The first few days were as if next to hell.. But as time passed i started being okay with the music n eventually loving it..
The lines , the words , the phrases the songs were very nice.. B it sad, happy, joyful, romantic any thing!!
The ' sar jo tera chakarai'
The ' mehabooba mehabooba'
The ' mai jindizagi ka saath nibhata raha'
Oh the music was just... Aahh magic....
The sad thing is that ppl compare the music.. The old n new.. Just enjoy both as they are Both r just awesome..
There is no comparison.. The only thing common is wat? The fact that they r both types of songs!
